Teachers have the challenging and rewarding responsibility of being "guardians" of dreams.  It is our job as teachers to protect, nurture, and encourage the dreams of our students.  It is important that I keep this in mind and never lose faith in any student's potential. Sometimes all a student needs is for someone to encourage their aspirations, and brighten their day with a smile.  My portfolio is a collection of my course work, professional development, and experience.  I will continue to add to it as I grow in my teaching.
