Welcome to the new 2010-2011 school year. My name is Mrs. Del Rio-Logsdon and I'm excited to be teaching Physical Science. This is my third year teaching at Sahuarita High School but I am not new to Sahuarita High School. Yes, I am a Mustang graduate!
As the school year progresses, you will see many changes happening to this site. I recommend and urge all of you to utilize this website as it will be where many of your answers to your questions can be found. I will be updating this site with weekly assignments as well as study guides and practice quizzes which will help you prepare for every test and assignment. August - September (Summary)
During the month of August, students will be familiarized with the classroom procedures and then will learn about the various scientists who contributed to physical science.
During the month of September, students will begin reading the textbook and studying the scientific method, metric system and how science and math go hand in hand.
September
This week we will be studying Physical Science, the study of atoms, matter, and chemistry. Read Chapter 2 and study your vocabulary for the week.
